Favorite or oddest new character (IYO)

Well I'm liking the addition of Meta Knight. Wario would be better if they do not make his attacks revolve around farting. Zero-suit Samus I see no point in except to initiate a big porn fad.

I was VERY shocked to see Pit and Snake in the Trailer. But then I saw an interview somewhere that involved someone begging Nintendo to put Snake in Melee but it was too late in development.

That leaves Pit. If you don't know, Pit is the angel boy from the NES game Kid Icarus. Pit is an unusaul choice as Kid Icarus only saw two games (the second one I learned of only recently). It implies a revival of the series. Which is kind of weird because at this point most people only know of him because:

• He appeared as a trophy in Melee
  
• He appeared in the trailer for Brawl
  

Yup that's about it.

[Metaknight]

Obviously, my favorite newcomer is Metaknight.

Not only can he fly with his wings, but I was astounded by his lightning fast, sword slashing abilities in the trailer, and he just looks amazing. I believe I'll be quite powerful playing as him in Brawl. It was also appealing to put a character that had such a small role in the old Kirby games into a much larger role in Brawl. I can't wait.

My second favorite is Pit, who can also fly, but his weapon is amazing. A bow for shooting arrows that turns into two swords. Genious.

I wasn't as excited about Zero Suit Samus, Wario, or Snake. Wario was too expected, Zero Suit Samus is too similar to just plain Samus, and Snake doesn't really appeal me. But they will all be great characters whom I look forward to battling.

ZSS is quite pointless but I'm sure they'll do something different with her. ;D
